Coconut Patra Recipe By Archana Arte

Ingredients

  • 8-10 Patra Leaves
  • 2 tbsp Tamarind Pulp
  • 1 cup Golden Harvest Besan
  • 1 tbsp Golden Harvest Garam masala
  • 1 tbsp Golden Harvest Coriander Powder
  • 1 tbsp Golden Harvest Cumin Powder
  • Golden Harvest Salt To Taste
  • 1 tbsp Fresh & Pure Oil
  • 2 tbsp Ektaa Jaggery
  • 1 tbsp Golden Harvest Red Chilli Powder
  • Water
  • 1/2 cup Thick Coconut Milk
Method
  • Firstly clean and wash the Patra Leaves and then cut off its stem.
  • In a bowl add Besan, Garam Masala, Coriander Powder, Jeera Powder, Salt, Red Chilli Powder, Tamarind Pulp, Jaggery, Water and mix them properly into a thick batter.
  • Now take a leaf and apply the batter on it and repeat this four times and then fold them from the sides and roll it in a log and cut it into roundels.
  • Place them on a pan and put a small amount of coconut milk on each one. Cover it with a lid.
  • Remove the lid, flip it and again add the milk and cook it again.
  • Serve it warm.
