Easy & Hatke Tomato Soup


For Tomato Base

  • 1 ltr Tomato Puree
  • 2 Onions
  • 5 Garlic Cloves
  • 2 tbsp Golden Harvest Coriander seeds
  • 1 tbsp Golden Harvest Garam masala
  • Golden Harvest Salt to taste

For Cream of Tomato Soup

  • Tomato base as required
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • 1 tbsp Parsley
  • Golden Harvest Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp Golden Harvest Black Pepper powder
  • ¼ cup Cream
  • 1 tsp Golden Harvest Sugar
  • Croutons

For Tomato Saar

  • Tomato base as required
  • 1 tsp Golden Harvest Cumin seeds
  • 1 tbsp fresh and pure Oil/Ghee
  • 1 tbsp Curry leaves
  • 1 tsp Golden Harvest Hing
  • 2 Green Chillies
  • Golden Harvest Salt as required
  • ¼ cup Coconut Milk

For Tomato Rassam

  • Tomato base as required
  • 1 tbsp Coconut Oil
  • 4 Bore Mirch (chilli)
  • 1 tsp Golden Harvest Mustard seeds
  • Pinch of Golden Harvest Hing
  • 1 tbsp Curry leaves
  • 1 tbsp Rassam powder
  • 1 small Tamarind
  • Golden Harvest Salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh Coriander


For making base

  • Blanch 1kg of big tomatoes cool them then puree it as as smooth paste.
  • Take a muslin cloth add cube of onion, garlic, whole garam masala, bay leaves, coriander seeds and make it in a potli.
  • Now in a big pot add the pur?e and the potli and bring it to a boil and simmer it for 15-20 minutes.

For cream of tomato soup

  • In a saucepan, add tomato base, salt, sugar, cream, black pepper powder and boil once then add the butter and parsley. Serve with croutons.

For tomato Saar

  • In a saucepan add oil / ghee. Add cumin seeds, curry leaves, hing, red chillies and tomato base and bring it to a boil, then add the coconut milk, salt and serve with rice.

For tomato rasam

  • In a saucepan, add coconut oil, mustard seeds, curry leaves, hing, round chillies , tomato base, rassam powder and bring it to a boil, after it is boiled add tamarind paste, salt and freshly chopped coriander. Serve with rice or as palate enhancer.
