Gajar Halwa Pie

Ingredients:

For Gajar Halwa

  • 9 Carrots
  • 4 cups Full Fat Milk
  • 1/4 cup Mawa
  • 4 tbsp Fresh& Pure Ghee
  • 1/2 cup Golden Harvest Sugar
  • 1/4 cup Karmiq Cashews Nuts
  • 1 tsp Golden Harvest Cardamom Powder
  • 1/4 cup Golden Harvest Raisins
For Pie Crust
  • 200 gms Golden Harvest Wheat Flour
  • 2 tbsp Golden Harvest Powdered Sugar
  • 8 tbsp Cold Butter
  • 3 tbsp Cold Water
  • Pinch of Golden Harvest Salt
Method
  • For Halwa, First wash, peel and grate the carrots.
  • Now in a pot heat ghee add the grated carrots in and saute properly.
  • One's colour changes add milk and sugar in it let it cook fully.
  • Now let it cook and when all the liquid is gone add the mawa and the dry fruits.
  • Saute it for a while and then switch off the flame and add cardamom powder and keep aside.
For Pie Crust
  • In a bowl add flour, sugar, and butter and mix it till it resemble bread crumbs, add pinch salt and water mix and make a dough keep in refrigerator it for 10-15 mins
  • Roll it out and put it in the pie mould and blind bake for 170-180c for 15-20 mins
  • Now add the gajar halwa and bake for 10 min.
  • Garnish with whipped aquafaba put it in the oven or blow torch serve it .
