Sizzler Thali


For Dal:

  • 1 cup Golden Harvest Tur Dal
  • 1 tbsp Fresh & Pure Oil
  • 1/2 tsp Golden Harvest Hing
  • 1 tsp Golden Harvest Cumin Seeds
  • 2 Green Chillies
  • 1 tsp Golden Harvest Sugar
  • Golden Harvest Salt To Taste
  • 1 tbsp Fresh Coriander Leaves

For Green Peas Usal:

  • 1 tbsp Fresh & Pure Oil
  • 1 Dried Coconut
  • 1 Onion
  • 2 Garlic Cloves
  • 1 tsp Golden Harvest Mustard Seeds
  • 2 Dried Chillies
  • 1 tsp Golden Harvest Garam Masala
  • 1 tsp Golden Harvest Turmeric Powder
  • Golden Harvest Salt To Taste
  • 1 cup Green Peas

For Potato Sabzi:

  • 2-3 Potatoes
  • 1 tbsp Fresh & Pure Ghee
  • 1 tsp Fennel Seeds Powder
  • 1 tsp Golden Harvest Coriander Powder
  • 1 tsp Golden Harvest Black Pepper Powder
  • 2 tbsp Pomegranate Seeds
  • Golden Harvest Salt To Taste

Other Accompaniments:

  • 1 cup Golden Harvest Boiled Rice
  • Mix Pakora
  • Variety of Fryums
  • Pickle
  • Chutney
  • Fresh Salad
  • Cabbage Leaves


For preparing Dal

  • In a saucepan heat ghee then add hing, jeera, green chillies saute for while.
  • Than add the cooked dal water and salt and boil for a minute. Switch off the flame, add chopped coriander leaves.

For preparing grean peas usal

  • First on open flame roast the dryer coconut properly and then make a fine paste using onion, garlic and the roasted coconut.
  • In a pan heat oil mustard seeds, red chillies then the paste saute properly.
  • Now add turmeric powder, garam masala, boiled green peas, salt, some water and mix properly and simmer for a minute.

For preparing batata bhaji

  • In a pan heat ghee add boiled and cut potatoes, fennel powder, black pepper powder, salt, coriander powder mix properly and then switch off the flame and add pomegranate seeds.

For assembling the sizzler

  • Put the wooden plate in water and the metal plate on the grass to heat ones hot keep the cabbage leaves on it then place all the elements on it as you desire and enjoy it nice and hot.
