Surti Undhiyu Pulao

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Golden Harvest Basmati Rice
  • ¼ cup Potatoes
  • ¼ Brinjal
  • ¼ cup Raw Banana
  • ¼ cup Purple Yam
  • ¼ cup Surti Papdi
  • ¼ cup Vaal Papdi Dana
  • ¼ cup Tur Dana
  • ¼ cup Green Chick Peas
  • 1 cup Grated Coconut
  • 2 tsp Golden Harvest Carom Seeds
  • ¼ tsp Golden Harvest Hing
  • 4 Green Chillies
  • 1 tsp Golden Harvest Turmeric Powder
  • Golden Harvest Salt to Taste
  • 1 cup Coriander Leaves
  • 1 cup Green Garlic
  • 3 tbsp Peanut Oil

For Garnishing:

  • Grated Coconut
  • Garlic Sev
  • Pomegranate Seeds
  • Chopped Green Garlic

Method

  • Wash and sock rice for 10-15 mins.
  • In a bowl mix together chopped coriander leaves, chopped green garlic, salt, Turmeric powder, grated Coconut, green chillies, hing properly and remove some of it an grind in a cours paste and keep aside.
  • Now take the mix a put in it the vegetables by giving them a slit half way.
  • Take a big pot, add oil and carom seeds than put all the remaining mixture and the paste that we made, saute for a while, then add all the vegetables in it a mix will.
  • Then add the rice in mix gently, add double the quantity of water to your rice let it cook properly for around 15-20 mins.
  • Serve hot and garnish with chopped green garlic, sev, coconut, pomegranate seeds. Enjoy!
