Tri-Coloured Phirni Recipe By Varun Inamdar And Kanak Kathuria


  • 1/4 cup Golden Harvest Basmati rice
  • 1 litre ful fat milk
  • 3/4 cup Golden Harvest Sugar
  • 6 to 7 Golden Harvest Green cardamom powder
For colours
  • 1/4 cup Orange juice
  • 1/4 cup Karmiq pista paste
For garnish
  • Karmiq Pista slivered
  • Strands of Karmiq Saffron
  • Karniq Almonds slivered
  • Silver varakh
  • Dryed Rose petals
  • Firstly take washed, soaked and air dryer rice and blend it in an blender once or twice till it resembling a coarse powder.
  • Now take a heavy bottom pan add the rice, sugar, milk and stir it continuously till the milk has reduced in half and the rice is cooked properly, sprinkle some Cardamom powder and mix will.
  • At this stage divide it in three batches add orange juice in one and cook a little.
  • Then in second batch add the posts paste and mix will cook for a minute or two.
